We truly believe that repair can change the clothing industry. But in order to change the clothing industry, we have to put people first. And this is the work and responsibility of the United Repair Centre to create dignified job opportunities for people distanced from the labour market.
Our ethos is to create businesses that solve problems for brands. But in order to do this, we have to create real opportunities for people that have skills that need to be employed in the new economy. We believe that repair is the new cool, and we are here to change the clothing industry for good. Repair is the new.
We believe our work shows how circularity and social inclusion can strengthen each other, creating positive environmental and social impact at scale. Through fair employment, our Repair Academy, and a scalable model, we hope to inspire the fashion industry to move towards a more just and inclusive transition.
