Made Out Of won the Circular System Challenger Award, presented by ZEEMAN, for its holistic, scalable model that makes circular fashion both social and accessible.
The brand creates timeless bags and accessories from recycled European materials and next-gen innovations, produced in a Dutch social atelier. Designs are developed around the properties of sustainable materials and the skills of the makers, resulting in durable, repairable products that are easy to reproduce.
In the year ahead, my team and I will work closely with Made Out Of to help bring their vision to life. We’ll support the expansion of their social atelier to create more inclusive job opportunities, boost their visibility to help them scale across Europe, and stand beside them as they work to make circular, transparent fashion the new mainstream.
