Bright Fibre is setting a benchmark. We are the first worldwide, truly circular fashion factory. We make our own clothes in a fully closed loop, from local materials to new fibres, new yarns, new fabrics, and end with a minimum of 40 old local clothes in sight. Right here in Amsterdam, we upcycle more than 2. 5 million kilos a and make a local impact in Amsterdam and beyond.
By reusing material and colour, we eliminate processes like dyeing. In this way, we cut water use, pollution, and waste dramatically. With a fully automated fibre-to-fibre line, we sort fibre and clean material into an output, high qualitative and volume on colour. In a way the industry never has seen before, Bright Fibre is more than a private label company for brands, and we are a blueprint for circular textiles, partnering with brands, aligning with policy, and inspiring change far beyond our city. This is the reason why we think that Bright Fibre should win the Amsterdam Circular Changemaker Award.
Brightfiber Textiles deserves the Amsterdam Circular Changemaker Award for pioneering the world’s first fully circular B2B factory that transforms post-consumer textile waste into high-quality fibers, yarns, and fabrics while drastically cutting water, chemicals, and pollution. With the capacity to recycle up to 3 million kilos of textiles annually in Amsterdam, it sets a powerful blueprint for scaling a truly circular textile economy worldwide.
