Lara Wolters is a Dutch politician representing GroenLinks-PvdA in the S&D Group, serving her second term as a Member of the European Parliament. She currently holds the position of Vice-Chair of the Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI) and is also a member of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON).

As lead on the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), Lara played a pivotal role in establishing responsible business conduct as the standard for European companies. She also contributed to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and continues to advocate for sustainability and fair fashion through her work with the Sustainable Textile Working Group.

Her leadership and vision will be instrumental in recognising the pioneers shaping a more sustainable and equitable future for fashion and beyond.
